Editor-in-Chief
Mirja brings 12 years of editorial experience in health journalism. She studied nutrition science at University of Helsinki and is passionate about translating complex research into stories that resonate. A plant-based enthusiast for over a decade, Mirja believes knowledge empowers choices. Outside the office, she explores Finnish forests and experiments with Nordic plant-based cuisine.
Sanna Virtanen
Nutrition & Wellness Writer
Sanna holds a Master's degree in Nutritional Science and has extensively researched plant-based nutrition and women's health. Her writing bridges scientific rigor with relatable storytelling. She works closely with leading nutritionists and researchers to ensure our content stays current. When not writing, Sanna leads community nutrition workshops across Turku and mentors young scientists.
Hanna Karvonen
Recipe Development & Food Culture
